Who doesn't love apple crumble? And this one's vegan! With cocoa butter! I promise it doesn't taste or smell chocolatey, though; that would be weird.
Filling Ingredients
Apples
Maybe throw in a few pears, if you're so inclined
Maple syrup (I love, love, love Clark's maple & carob syrup)
A little splash of fruit juice or rum
Cinnamon
Crumble Ingredients
Cocoa butter
Flour
Maple syrup
Salt
Cinnamon
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to about 180°C or 350°F.
Chop and core the fruit. Peel or don't peel, whatever. Simmer the filling ingredients over a low heat for about 10 mins.
Melt the cocoa butter. Mix with the other crumble ingredients.
Pour the fruit mix into a baking pan. Top with crumble. Bake for about 30-35 mins, depending on how well done you like your crumble.
